Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost to fix the back?
The cost depends on the replacement part, colour, and labour. Check the listed product price and confirm whether installation is included.
What is the best back cover?
Choose a quality replacement that matches your phone’s model and colour. A shock-absorbing case can help protect the newly fitted back from future damage.
Is this phone still good this year?
Yes. It remains capable of photography, gaming, streaming, and everyday tasks. Battery health, physical condition, and repair costs are important when deciding whether to keep it.
How much does the phone cost in Kenya?
Prices vary according to storage, condition, battery health, and seller. Check current Kenyan listings for accurate prices.
Is the display OLED or LCD?
It has a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with ProMotion. It does not use a conventional LCD backlight.
How do I fix backlight problems?
An OLED display does not use a traditional LCD backlight. If the screen stays black or fails to display an image, restart the phone and seek professional diagnosis if the problem persists.
Will replacing the back lid fix a black screen?
No. Back lid replacement repairs the rear panel. Display faults and suspected display IC problems require separate diagnosis.
What are the phone’s main weaknesses?
Potential drawbacks include its weight, ageing batteries in used devices, Lightning charging, and potentially expensive repairs.
