DJI RS 4 Mini Specifications
Dimension and Weight
DJI RS 4 Mini has a gimbal weight of approximately 890g. The dimensions are 316 x 236 x 64 mm when folded and 338 x 182 x 175 mm when unfolded, making it the most compact and travel-friendly professional stabilizer in the RS 4 lineup.
Ultra-Lightweight with 2kg Payload
DJI RS 4 Mini comes with an Ultra-Lightweight design and 2kg Payload. Despite weighing only 2 lbs, it effortlessly handles mainstream mirrorless camera and lens combinations, such as the Sony A7 series with a 24-70mm f/2.8 lens. Its high-torque motors ensure stable shooting even when zooming to maximum focal lengths without needing constant rebalancing.
3rd-Gen Native Vertical Shooting
DJI RS 4 Mini comes with 3rd-Gen Native Vertical Shooting. This feature allows creators to switch between horizontal and vertical orientations in seconds by simply rotating the quick-release plate. It is specifically optimized for social media content, ensuring no loss in stabilization quality when filming for vertical platforms.
Automated Axis Locks
DJI RS 4 Mini comes with Automated Axis Locks. Previously found only on flagship models, these locks allow the gimbal to automatically unfold and enter the working state when powered on. When powered off, the axes lock into place instantly, making it incredibly fast to transition between shooting and moving to your next location.
13-Hour Battery Life with Fast Charging
DJI RS 4 Mini comes with 13-Hour Battery Life with Fast Charging. The integrated 3100mAh battery provides enough power for an entire day of shooting. It supports 18W PD fast charging, which can provide 5 hours of runtime with just a 30-minute charge, and a full recharge takes less than 2 hours.
4th-Gen RS Stabilization Algorithm
DJI RS 4 Mini comes with the 4th-Gen RS Stabilization Algorithm. This next-gen algorithm delivers professional-level smoothness whether you are walking, running, or performing complex orbit shots. It automatically calibrates motor strength to adapt to different camera setups, ensuring peak performance across various shooting scenarios.
