DJI RS 3 Specifications

Dimension and Weight

DJI RS 3 has a total weight of approximately 1.3 kg (including gimbal, battery grip, and quick-release plates). Its folded dimensions are 254 x 230 x 68 mm, making it highly portable for travel and on-location shoots.

Automated Axis Locks

DJI RS 3 comes with Automated Axis Locks. When the gimbal is powered off, pressing and holding the power button allows the three axes to unlock and expand automatically, letting you start shooting in seconds. When powered down, the axes lock automatically, ensuring the gimbal stays secure during transport.

3rd-Gen RS Stabilization Algorithm

DJI RS 3 comes with the 3rd-Gen RS Stabilization Algorithm. This next-generation technology provides a 20% increase in stability over previous models, effortlessly managing low-angle shots, running scenarios, or switching between high and low positions. For even more demanding scenes, the SuperSmooth mode increases motor torque to further enhance stabilization.

1.8-inch OLED Full-Color Touchscreen

DJI RS 3 comes with a 1.8-inch OLED Full-Color Touchscreen. Compared to the black-and-white screens of older models, this larger and more vibrant display provides intuitive control. It allows you to set parameters, check shooting status, and switch between gimbal modes with a redesigned user interface that is both precise and easy to navigate.

Wireless Shutter Control

DJI RS 3 comes with Wireless Shutter Control. Utilizing Dual-Mode Bluetooth technology, the RS 3 supports cable-free shutter control for compatible cameras. After the initial pairing, you can control video and photo capture simply by pressing the record button on the stabilizer, streamlining your workflow.

12-Hour Battery Life with Fast Charging

DJI RS 3 comes with 12-Hour Battery Life with Fast Charging. The quick-release battery grip features a cartridge design for easy swapping. It provides enough power for a full day of continuous shooting and supports 18W PD fast charging, reaching a full charge in just 2.5 hours. It can even be charged while in use.
