DJI RS 4 Specifications

Dimension and Weight

DJI RS 4 has a gimbal weight of approximately 1,066g. The dimensions are 245 x 255 x 75 mm when folded and 370 x 191 x 189 mm when unfolded, making it a highly portable choice for single-handed professional operation.

3kg (6.6lbs) Payload Capacity

DJI RS 4 comes with a 3kg (6.6lbs) Payload Capacity. Featuring an extended tilt axis by 8.5mm compared to previous models, it offers more balancing space for mainstream mirrorless camera and lens combinations. This ensures robust power and stability even when adding accessories like ND filters or lens supports.

2nd-Gen Native Vertical Shooting

DJI RS 4 comes with 2nd-Gen Native Vertical Shooting. The newly designed horizontal plate allows for instant switching to vertical filming without the need for additional accessories. Simply release the plate and secure it in the vertical position to capture high-quality content optimized for social media platforms.

Teflon™-Coated Axis Arms

DJI RS 4 comes with Teflon™-Coated Axis Arms. All three axes feature a specialized Teflon coating that reduces friction during the balancing process. Combined with the fine-tuning knob on the tilt axis, this allows for millimeter-level precision when shifting the camera forward or backward for a perfect balance.

12-Hour Battery Life with Fast Charging

DJI RS 4 comes with 12-Hour Battery Life with Fast Charging. Powered by the BG21 battery grip, it provides ample runtime for a full day of shooting. It supports 18W PD fast charging, reaching a full charge in approximately 2.5 hours, and is compatible with the optional high-capacity BG70 grip for even longer sessions.

4th-Gen RS Stabilization Algorithm

DJI RS 4 comes with the 4th-Gen RS Stabilization Algorithm. This next-generation technology provides optimized stabilization for various scenarios, maintaining a perfect balance between motor strength and the tactile feel of camera movement. It is particularly effective at managing dynamic shots, such as running or low-angle perspectives.
